“impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. it’s a dare. impossible is potential. impossible is temporary. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!” – Muhammad Ali
I recently found this cake on Like Cool and had to share it with you all because it is AMAZING! This cake has 5 different retro video games on it, which includes Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Frogger, Pong and Tetris. The cake was created by an Australian cake designer Nicole Kane of Cake Haute Couture

In 2011 a built my own custom BMX bike and it’s something I am extremely proud of. However, since then I really haven’t made a big enough effort to use it as much as I would have liked.
So when we decided to go Mount Maunganui for New Years I knew it would be a great opportunity to use my BMX. Check out these great photos of our BMX gang thanks to Jared from Swift & Click Photography!
What do you think of my bike? Have you ever custom built anything?

Recently I headed back to Hamilton Brooks in Newmarket to see my hairdresser Paul. I arrived knowing that this time round I wanted to dye my hair a vibrant purple colour. I absolutely love this colour and it is starting to fade into a gorgeous lavender tone. If you want to create this look contact Hamilton Brooks and ask for Paul Dean.

Tip: To create a simple nail art look, have one finger painted a contrasting colour to create a eye catching summer look.
I was lucky enough to spend my 2012/13 New Years with a very rad group of friends! Taryn, Pedey, Ben and I all headed down to Mount Maunganui to enjoy the beach and sun, with Rach and Jared from Swift & Click Photography.
We had our own Mexican party at Rach and Jared’s beach side batch, before heading down to the beach to count in the New Year. I had so much fun and really enjoyed spending it with a close group of awesome friends! Check out these sweet photos that Jared took throughout the night.. Rach and Jared have so much photography talent it’s ridiculous! Make sure you head over to their Facebook Page to see their other work and book them for your next party!
What did you do for your New Year and who did you spend it with?
I have been wanting a dog of a while now, and have recently fallen madly in love with Yorkie-Poo’s, which is a Yorkshire Terrier crossed with a Miniature Poodle. They’re super small and VERY cute! Also dogs with wool coats don’t shed as much hair and don’t get as stinky!
I am not normally a “handbag dog” fan, because growing up as a kid my family always had big dogs. But these little guys are so cute, how could you not love them! Do you think I should get one? 🙂
My 2012 Christmas was all about family, food and fun in the sun! I had such an enjoyable time in Wanganui this Christmas with the most amazing weather! Here are some snaps from my family Christmas.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I would like to thank everyone for their love and support of my blog over the last 12 months 😀. I hope you are all having a lovely summer holiday and are enjoying spending time with friends and family!
My tip for starting 2013: set yourself some goals this year that are measurable, and write them down. Make sure you share then with a close friend or family member that can support you in achieving your goals. Then at the end of the year sit down with your list and cross off everything you have achieved, it will leave you feeling very satisfied and will motivate you to continue to work hard!
REMEMBER – you can achieve anything you set your mind to! … Best wishes for 2013!
Although it is technically summer in New Zealand, it still isn’t that warm yet… This is a great outfit for all the bargain hunters – each of these items are under $100! My shirt is from Dotti, jacket from Wild Pair and leggings from Glassons! I love mixing patterns and bright colours – it’s such a fun look!
